About me
Michelle Taylor BA Hons, MBACP (Accred)
I’m a psychodynamic psychoanalyst working with individuals and couples aged 18+, offering both open‑ended therapy and focused short‑term work. Whether face to face, online, or by phone, my aim is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward with clarity and confidence.
My approach is rooted in building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. When clients feel safe enough to explore what’s beneath the surface, real change becomes possible.
I trained for five years before completing an accredited Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling at The Counselling Foundation, followed by a CORST Level 5 Certificate in Couples and Relationship Counselling. I’ve also undertaken specialist training in eating disorders. Alongside my private practice, I’ve worked at The Counselling Foundation in St Albans in various tutor roles, supporting the development of trainee counsellors.
